Tis The Season...
This past week has been awesome as we had a few of our closest friends visit and we became god parents for the first time to beautiful precious Lauren Elise Cobley! We are so honored and we can't wait to get everything ready for her baptism!
After Sean and Kassie left for home back to Denver, I started reflecting on my role as Laurens god mother and what this season is really all about...friends, family, sharing, giving, reflection, and most important celebrating and remembering our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Take a look at our little angel God Daughter!

Another Halloween has come and gone! Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye. Alex is officially in scary costume mode...no more cute princess, ballerina, angel costumes (unless of course it has vampire, or evil villain of some sorts in front of it). Sad for me because it's just another sign that my baby girl is growing up way faster than I can emotionally handle.
We had fun trick or treating! We had about twelve little ones in the crew all running up to the doors of the Moore's neighbors! Anyone that knows these kids... you know that was a "Uh-oh here comes trouble" at each house;-)
On another note, SAS had the first dance performance of the season at the Gilbert fall festival this past Saturday! All the dancers did amazing! They all work SO hard balancing competition dance schedules, school, homework and trying to maintain a social life!! I think the same goes for the parents and teachers.
Below are a few pics of the kids on Halloween night!

Girlfriends Are So Awesome!

"Oh-No"!!! |
Let's get out of here |
These little girlie girls are such great little BFF's and I just LOVE all four of them so much! They all bring so much laughter and light in our house when they're at the house:-) I love hearing the endless giggles and pitter patters of their little (but growing fast) feet. I'm so grateful and try to take in as much as I can of the pure innocence they still possess. Not a real care in the world! ahhh, to be eight again...

Alex Playing In The Rain!
As we know all to well, rainy days in Phoenix are far and few in between. So, when Alex came home from school last Tuesday the rain was coming down and she was eager and ready to grab her polka dot umbrella and run outside to dance in the rain! I couldn't resist grabbing the camera and following her outside to catch a few pics of my little button girl:-)

Labor Day Fun In Pinetop!
Getting back into the daily groove and grind after a very relaxing Labor Day weekend! I seriously believe that three day weekends should be mandatory once a month! We packed up the crew on Friday and headed north for some cool crisp mountain air and fun with great friends! So many great memories and all the kids even got along (I know...I'm shocked too).

Need To Get Moving...
I have been addicted to customizing this blog all week! It's been fun and I'm learning a lot:-) Time to get moving and focused on the long weekend ahead! YAY for three day weekends!!! Happy Labor Day:-) I certainly don't plan on doing much "labor" at all! XOXO

Chapel Of The Holy Cross - Sedona
The absolute most beautiful, majestic, and peaceful place I have ever visited. Even if you're not Catholic it's a sure "bucket list" must visit!
Weekend Retreat To Red Rock Country...Sedona!
Jerry and I decided to go on a last minute weekend getaway to Sedona this past weekend. It was the perfect trip and it was just the two of us! We stayed creekside in a little waterfront bungalow and it was so relaxing. We talked for hours on end and had fun reading each others palms from the directions in a little tiny 3 dollar book we bought at the psychic store! Good times!
Alexandra Marie Ulibarri's 7th Birthday Party!
My oh my how the years just go by...Alexandra turned seven this past December and she had a spectacular party (as you can see by the pictures), very fitting for a princess! We are so truly blessed that god has chosen us to be the parents of this little angel! Some days I wish I could just wrap up all of her sweetness and purity and just keep it in a bottle forever. She is however growing up and blossoming into an amazing young lady. Her heart is just as kind as her spirit and she brings pure joy to our lives everyday.

New to blogging...
I'm very "green" to the blogging thing, so forgive me until I get used to it:-) I'm hoping this will catch on with the rest of the family and friends and we can keep in touch more frequently. Not much new to report on the home front here. Alex started 2nd grade last Wednesday (tears) and she loves her teacher and classmates. Her teacher is sure going to be keeping all of us on our toes. Tons of homework for the kids and the parents! Dance season is full swing again (feels like we didn't even have a break at all) and Alex is working her little booty off learning all her new routines and preparing for competition (we're working hard being her taxi cab). I hope this finds everyone well!!! More updates to follow, so keep an eye out!
